Celebrating Small Business Week in Seattle

Small Business Week for Dogs: Shopping at Wag N' Wash on Queen Anne Hill with Stella & Chewy's

One of the best parts of moving to a new city is discovering all the places and spaces that make it truly unique.

We left NYC almost two months ago, and we’re loving settling into our life in Seattle. There are so many parks to explore, restaurants to try, and dog-friendly beaches to visit.

But I’m especially enjoying discovering Seattle’s stellar local shops. As many of you know, I’m a huge believer in supporting small businesses (we made a whole holiday-gifting magazine about it last year!) and there are so many fun spots to shop for essentials—both for ourselves and for the pups.

In honor of Small Business Week, Stella & Chewy’s invited us to visit Seattle’s Wag N’ Wash, which offers natural pet food and a DIY dog wash, as well as other pup picks like treats and toys. Although Wag N’ Wash stores can be found in a handful of states, each location is locally-owned and operated by pet enthusiasts from the community.

We stopped by Seattle’s Wag N’ Wash on Queen Anne Hill on a sunny Sunday afternoon and were immediately charmed by the friendly staff, great selection of toys, and pup-friendly atmosphere. Obviously, I wanted to buy everything. 👇🏻

Not only was it fun to shop a carefully-curated collection of pup essentials, we also loved that they carried Stella & Chewy’s products that can only be found in neighborhood pet stores—their kibble options, the stews, and the raw frozen options. Dave and Lizzie are completely addicted to Stella’s Stew, so we will definitely be visiting Wag N’ Wash regularly.

As you celebrate Small Business Week over the next few days, we invite you to seek out local businesses where you can shop for your pups. And if you’re lucky enough to live in a state with a Wag N’ Wash, we definitely recommend it. Find out if there’s a location near you here.

Whatever your neighborhood pet store is, we hope you enjoy shopping small this week!

P.S. If you’ve been thinking about trying out Stella & Chewy’s, we’ve got a printable $5 off coupon that you can find here and redeem at your local pet store. We bet your pup will love their food as much as ours do. 🐾

Happy Small Business Week!
