Today's Travel Lust List feature is a total triple-threat of everything we love in a hotel—great design, great price-point, and great dog-policy.
The Windy City's newish Virgin Hotel is a boutique hotel in the Chicago's Loop. The hotel opened in January 2015, and features all the bells and whistles you'd hope to see at a Virgin hotel—an app to manage everything about your stay from thermostat to dinner recommendations, mini-bars that don't upcharge, and a hip, minimalist aesthetic.
The best part about Chicago's Virgin Hotel is its no-fee pup amenities. They offer guests with dogs the following perks:
Pet-friendly rooms and a ceramic dog to place outside your door to indicate there's a pet inside.
A comfy dog bed
A food and water dish
A Virgin Hotels bandana
They even say on their website that if you sign up for their The Know program, you'll be greeted with your dog's favorite treat. Seems pretty lust-worthy to us!
