I think we can safely say that we’re living in the golden age of glamping. It seems like a new glampsite or glamping start-up opens about every five minutes these days.

But even though glamping is the perfect pupcation, way too many of the resorts don’t allow dogs—info that’s often buried deep in a “terms and policies” page. (Does anyone else go crazy trying to find hotels’ pet policies?)

As we started to plan our 2020 summer vacations, I’ve been eyeing a whole lot of glamping sites and wanted to pull together a list of the ones that are dog-friendly to share. Whether you’re looking for an airstream adventure, a tiny house, or a classic safari tent, we’ve got you covered.

Collective Yellowstone | Big Sky, Montana

Collective Retreats currently has five glamping locations around the country, but it’s the Yellowstone location that really stole our hearts. Just an hour from Yellowstone National Park, the resort offers fly fishing and horseback riding in a stunning landscape. Safari tents are outfitted with electricity, high thread-count sheets, and s’mores kits. Find their Fido fine-print under “Prices and Policies.”

Autocamp | Various locations

If you’ve always dreamed of owning an Airstream (guilty!), Autocamp is for you. And with bright minimalist interiors and Ursa Major bath products, these Airstreams definitely aren’t your hippie uncle’s old trailer. The best part is that camps are near hot locations like Cape Cod, Yosemite, Sonoma, and Santa Barbara. More on their (kind of intense) dog policy here.

Huttopia White Mountains | Albany, New Hampshire

For laid-back lodging in a serene lakefront setting, it doesn’t get much better than Huttopia. Enjoy paddle-boarding, canoeing, or sitting by the pool at this rustic resort. Vaccinated dogs are welcome—deets under “Pricing” here.

Fireside resort | Wilson, Wyoming

Whether these tiny cabins count as glamping is debatable, but we love that they’re LEED-certified, have private campfires, and offer easy access to Jackson Hole. Opt into Fireside’s Jeep rental package to make the most of your stay. Dogs are welcome in select cabins. Read more here.

Paws Up | Greenough, Montana

For a truly iconic glamping experience, you can’t beat Paws Up. The 37,000-acre resort offers all types of lodging, but the luxe tents look pretty dreamy. Pups will love the Pet Package, which includes a welcome note from the owner’s dog, locally-made treats, and a map of dog-friendly hikes, as well as a bed, bowl, and ball. See the full pup policy here.

Getaway | Multiple Locations

We’ve blogged about how much we love Getaway’s tiny houses in the past, and we’re eyeing the new Portland location for 2020. They’re a perfect way to escape into nature while staying warm and dry. And how incredible is that signature bedside window? Dogs are allowed for a fee—details here.

Ventana Big Sur | Big Sur, CaliforniA

I can’t imagine a better place to go camping than Big Sur. And you’ll hardly feel like you’re roughing it since Ventana’s glampsites come with heated blankets and full access to the resort’s extensive amenities. Browse dog-friendly activity ideas and read their pet policy here.

Sky Ridge Yurts | Bryson City, NC

Enjoy stunning views at these yurts in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. With full kitchens, heating, and walk-in showers, you’ll hardly remember you’re camping. Pet policy here.

Eastwind Hotel & Bar | Windham, NY

TBH, this one has me ready to pack my bags for a vacation like now. How darling are these tiny “lushnas” at this new Catskills boutique hotel? With sweeping mountain views and hip decor, these A-frames are an Instagram waiting to happen. More on their pup policies here.

Firelight Camps | Ithaca, New York

We’re huge fans of Firelight Camps, which is one of the OG glampgrounds. (We blogged about our stay with them back in the day. ) With easy access to the Finger Lakes’ dog-friendly wineries and hikes, it’s a perfect pupcation. Rover rules here.

Under Canvas | Various Locations

With camps adjacent to some of the hottest tourist destinations in the U.S. (hello, Grand Canyon!), we’re dying to plan a trip to one of these gorgeous sites. Tents come with EO toiletries, en suite bathrooms, and daily housekeeping. Dog deets here.

The Vintages | Dayton, Oregon

Travel back in time with a stay in one of these vintage trailers. The best part? They’re located in Willamette Wine Country. Trailers come with pour-over coffee, luxe linens, and fancy bathrobes. They’re very dog-friendly and spell it all out here.

Tentrr | Various Locations

If you haven’t heard of Tentrr yet, you’re missing out. We’ve stayed with them twice (in Vermont and during a trip to Maine that we blogged about here) and each trip was amazing. Basically, they set up their luxury safari tents on exceptional pieces of land. More on their pup policies here.

Gather Greene | Coxsackie, New York

The Hudson Valley is pretty dreamy on its own, but add these tiny glass-walled cabins and it becomes straight-up magical. Two of the picture-perfect cabins are pet-friendly, and you can find more details here.

Bone Voyage!
