It's funny to me how much both of our dogs are total New Yorkers. Even though they came from different states—we got Lizzie from West Virginia and Dave from Missouri—NYC is really all they've ever known.

And you can tell. They don't blink an eye at honking horns, crowded sidewalks, or having to pee on cement. We never even really worry about Fourth of July fireworks because at this point, they tune out all the crazy rumbling and crashing that you hear on any given day from an NYC apartment.
