Is it just me or was January about 243 days long this year? This January has been exceptionally rainy and Seattle hasn’t had a fully sunny day since November 30, which might be why I feel extra soggy and grouchy right now.
Anyway, all the horrrrrible weather is why I’m extra ready to embrace the glitter and candy and champagne of Valentine’s Day this year. I always love V-Day—I’m one of those uncool people—but this year I feel like we could all really use some sparkle and joy.
