Meet the (Brand New!) Dog Treat We're Loving
We're celebrating DOGust with some delicious new pup treats and a giveaway! This post was created in partnership with Whisk & Wag, but all opinions are our own.
This probably makes me an obvious child of the '90s, but I can't think of a food that takes me back to childhood more than peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. We had them at playdates, on picnics, in Lunchables (remember Lunchables??), and sometimes just as a lazy weeknight dinner.
You can imagine my excitement when I heard that one of my all-time favorite brands, Whisk & Wag, was creating a make-at-home Peanut Butter & Berry dog treat. And yes, it does make your kitchen smell like peanut butter cookies. We love the new mix so much that we're giving a jar away to one lucky winner this week, so head over to Instagram to enter.
But here's the best part—the new flavor launches today as part of a month-long DOGust celebration. (In case you didn't know, DOGust 1 is the universal birthday of all the shelter dogs who haven't found forever-families to celebrate their birthdays.) During DOGust, Whisk & Wag is donating $1 from each jar purchased on Amazon to My Furry Valentine, one of their local adoption organizations in Cincinnati. How great is that? You can shop the new flavor here or read more about their ingredients here.

Step 1: Take a Cute Pup-Picture with the Jar
Okay, so this is optional, but how could you not?
Step 2: Pour the Mix into a Bowl. Add Oil and Water.
Cooking so easy even I can't mess it up.
Step 3: Roll Out the Mix and Use a small Cookie Cutter to cut out treats
If you don't want to use a cookie cutter, you can also roll the mix into small balls and flatten them with a fork, like you would a peanut butter cookie.
Step 4: Wait While They Bake
And maybe lick the bowl clean to kill some time...
Step 5: Allow Treats to Cool and Then Enjoy!
Have you ever seen such big puppy eyes? 👇🏻
P.S. Don't forget to stock up on the new flavor during DOGust so we can get as many donations as possible to My Furry Valentine!
