Enjoying Caffeine and Cuddles at NYC's Dog-Friendly Cafe

We stopped by Boris & Horton for drinks and puppy pastries.

Is there anything better than pups and coffee?

This year NYC got its first DOH-approved dog-friendly coffee shop and we couldn’t be more excited. The East Village cafe caters to canines and coffee lovers alike with two separate areas—a “human-only” barista bar and an expansive indoor seating area for furry friends. Pups are pampered with their own pastry case of maison de pawZ specialties like “Cheesy” Sweet Potato Fries, Pawreos, and Pupcakes. For humans, there are pastries from local favorites like Balthazaar, Bien Cuit, and Murray Cheese, as well as toasts and other snacks. Plus, evening visitors can choose from a selection of wine and beer.

It’s easy to find dog-friendly outdoor seating in NYC, but it was so nice to be able to sit indoors with Lizzie. We loved meeting other pups and relaxing in a truly woof-welcoming space. We definitely give it a five-paw review.
