Riverside Park in the snow

Riverside Park in the snow

On Friday, I blogged about how excited I was that we might get weekend snow—and Saturday morning delivered.

I really couldn't have asked for a better December Saturday. The first flakes started falling just as friends were arriving at our apartment for brunch. We turned on all of our twinkle lights, ate blueberry coffee cake, queued up some Christmas music, and watched the snow pile up outside.

In the afternoon, Josh and I took Dave to Central Park and Riverside Park. He's so grown up this year and it makes me a little sad. During the first snow of last year, he got the zoomies and gobbled down enough snow to get puppy brain freeze. This year, he did a lot of snuffling around in the snow, but seemed generally unimpressed.

I've included our pictures below. You can shop Dave's adorable little ED Ellen Degeneres hooded halter here.

Hope you all had a cozy weekend with your favorite people and pets! Let us know how you spent your weekend in the comments.
