Favorite Things Friday: September 18, 2020
A Weekly Round-Up of Rover-Related Links from Around the Web
Hi! Hello! We’re back!
We took a break for a minute… and what a minute it’s been.
I quit doing Favorite Things Friday in mid-March when our little family went into quarantine. I was so scared and heartbroken that I couldn’t imagine writing a breezy round-up of the best dog products, especially when so many people were losing their jobs or struggling to make ends meet at all.
By no means are things normal now—as I write this I’m sitting next to a window looking at the thick blanket of smoke hanging over our Seattle neighborhood—but I’m ready to commit to these weekly round-ups again.
Talking to so many of our small business friends over the summer has reminded me why we started Favorite Things Friday in the first place. The goal was always to help other pup owners discover great products and experiences for dogs—primarily from small businesses. And right now, shopping small is more important than ever.
So, enjoy the read, and we hope that you and your families are staying safe. Sending love from me and Josh and Lizzie and Dave and Baby Bridget!
