A Weekly Round-Up of Rover-Related Links from Around the Web
Does anyone else get a huge energy boost heading into September? After months of lazing on the beach, overdosing on picnic food, and skipping the dogs' walks because it's too hot, I'm always really ready to set some goals and dive into a more normal routine.
I'm getting really excited about some of our big plans for The Dapple this fall (stay tuned!) and also about some of my personal fall goals, like jumping onto the bullet-journaling train and learning to make homemade ice cream. What about you guys? What's new for you this fall?
Anyway, you know the drill—here's my weekly round-up of everything I'm loving from around dog-internet this week:
#1 Make a Splash
Thinking we need a trip to Tahoe after reading this Fido-friendly guide to Lake Tahoe and this list of the area's best dog beaches.
#2 Good Enough to Eat
Loving Bark's new state-themed dog treats that benefit a specific rescue organization in each state.
#3 Say boo
Weeping over the news that the annual Tompkins Square Park Halloween Dog Parade has been cancelled. Help save Howloween by contributing to their GoFundMe.
#4 Queen for a day
Eyeing this corg sweater.
#5 Bowled OVer
Thinking that these gorgeous and unbreakable bowls (made of bamboo fiber!) definitely look like they cost more than $10.
#6 Ruff Life
Bookmarking Hotel Theodore in downtown Seattle for our next pup-friendly stay in my hometown. More on their pupmenities here.
#7 Furminator
Having a lot of mixed feelings about the arrival of Sony's robot dog.
#8 Keep Palm and carry on
Falling for this palm print bed from Urban Outfitters.
#9 Chews your own adventure
Trying out these long-lasting yak dog chews.
#10 Snack and Save
Leaving a reminder that you can combine our savings on PetPlate with their existing offer to get 50% off your first box (which is already as low as $3 a day). Use this link and code WEENANDQUEEN25.
Happy weekend, everyone!
