When we first brought home our pups, everyone told us that once we had human kids, we wouldn’t love or enjoy our dogs the way that we had before kids. Anyone else experience this?
I am here to say that’s definitely not true—we still absolutely adore our dogs. And now they have two more tiny humans spoiling them and sneaking them fistfuls of treats, so I’m pretty sure that they’ve only become more spoiled. (Gemma literally snuck a bag of shredded cheese off the counter and started throwing handfuls to the dogs this week.)
Anyway, so many people around me who previously only had pups now have human kids—and in my experience, most of them are still obsessed with their dogs. That’s why I always seem to be on the hunt for the perfect gift for tiny dog lovers.
